Michael Cera has admitted that he has mixed feeling about making an Arrested Development movie.
The young actor played character George Michael in all three series of the sit-com before it was cancelled back in 2006.
In an interview with Parade the actor said: "I have mixed feelings about bringing the series to the big screen. I think it was good to leave on a high note and leave fans wanting more.
"If you take that chance and make a movie and it doesn’t measure up to expectations, then everyone will be like, 'They pushed their luck'.
"But, it's going to happen. Mitchell Hurwitz is finally starting to write the script. I think it's kind of something he should take his time on."
The movie has been in the pipeline for some time and will see Cera along with Jason Bateman and David Cross all return to their original roles.
While filming on the movie is yet to get underway the film is tentatively scheduled for a 2011 release.
