Mia Wasikowska has revealed that she loved working with the Tim Burton.
The twenty year old actress takes the central role of Alice in Burton's re-telling of Alice In Wonderland.
In an interview with Total Film the actress said: " It's been incredible. I think Tim is an amazing artist and a very visual person.
"He's very 'in the moment'. We didn't do a lot of rehearsals before we started filming, which really worked well because it's got lots of little spontaneous moments and they are quick encounters.
"It's fun to get into a scene with another actor and be surprised by what they're doing."
While Wasikowska is an unknown face in the movie Burton has lined up an impressive cast that includes Johnny Depp, Helena Bonham Carter, Anne Hathaway and Michael Sheen.
The film follows nineteen year-old who Alice returns to the magical world from her childhood adventure, where she reunites with her old friends and learns of her true destiny: to end the Red Queen's reign of terror.
Alice In Wonderland is released 5th March.
