Megan Fox chose to leave Transformers 3.
The actress is denying rumours that she had been booted out of the third movie in the franchise claiming that she decided that she did not want to return.
"Megan Fox will not be starring in Transformers 3," reps for the actress told People. "It was her decision not to return. She wishes the franchise the best."
Fox shot to fame in the role of Mikaela Banes in 2007, reprising the role in the second movie last summer.
But the actress had a rather public spat with director Michael bay last year when Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen was released.
But Bay came to the defence of the actress when a letter from three crew members, which called her 'dumb' and 'ungracious', was made public.
Filming on the third movie is expected to get underway this summer with Bay casting a different actress as a love interest for Shia LaBeouf's character Sam in a bid to take the movie in a different direction.
Fox is back on the big screen this summer as she stars alongside Josh Brolin and John Malkovich in Jonah Hex.
