Matt Damon wants to make the move into directing.
The actor is back on the big screen this week as he teams up with Bourne filmmaker Paul Greengrass for their third movie together.
Speaking at the UK press conference for the movie the actor revealed that it's the chance to work with the likes of Greengrass, Clint Eastwood and Steven Soderbergh that have prevented him from taking a break from acting.
"I want to direct someday and I can't really pass up the chance to work with people I'm getting the chance to work with. Paul three times now, Clint twice, Soderbergh five or six times.
"As long as that keeps happening, I'm going to work with the Coen brothers on True Grit, I can't be taking time off unless the work dries up."
The actor was Oscar nominated for his performance in Eastwood' Invictus, losing out to Christoph Waltz, but the actor already has an Oscar under his belt for Good Willing Hunting.
It was the movie that propelled him and Ben Affleck to fame as they picked up best Original Screenplay for their movie, which Affleck was also nominated for his central performance.
And it doesn't look like he will be moving behind the camera anytime soon with Margaret, The Adjustment Bureau and Hereafter, which sees him work with Eastwood once again, in the pipeline.
Green Zone is released 10th March.
