Matt Damon has played down rumours he's set to make his directorial debut with a script written by his pals Ben and Casey Affleck, insisting the siblings have yet to present him with a storyline.
The brothers have both made the transition from actors to filmmakers, with Ben Affleck scoring critical acclaim for his last two efforts, The Town and Gone Baby Gone.
The Daredevil action man recently revealed he was working with his younger brother Casey on a new project - and was keen to get Damon involved by inviting him to direct.
But Damon is adamant reports claiming he is about to step behind the camera are premature.
He tells People.com, "He (Ben) and Casey were going to write this movie and I guess Ben was quoted recently saying that he'd love to have me direct it. (But) there is no script yet."
Damon won an Oscar for Best Screenplay in 1998 when he teamed up with old friend Ben Affleck to write Good Will Hunting.
