Mary Elizabeth Winstead has called working on Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter 'insane and wonderful'.
The actress joins an all star cast of Rufus Sewell, Dominic Cooper and Benjamin Walker for the Timur Bekmambetov directed movie - which has been produced by Tim Burton.
Speaking to The Belfast Telegraph the actress said: "It's basically the story of Abraham Lincoln, his entire life story leading up to the assassination, and it's told really in a historically accurate way, except they weave this sort of b-storyline through that's completely fictional and wild and fun.
"It's insane and wonderful, I'm so excited about it and it was so much fun to film."
But before we see her in Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter she will be back on the big screen in The Thing, a prequel to the 1982 movie.
Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter is released 22nd August 2012.
