Martin Sheen has described Andrew Garfield as 'wonderful'
The pair are currently filming The Amazing Spider Man, in which Sheen plays Uncle Ben alongside Garfield's Peter Parker.
And the veteran actor - who is back on the big screen this week in The Way - had nothing but praise for his young co-star.
Speaking to Hey U Guys the actor said: "I'm dealing with this adolescent who is having problems with changes, with hormones changing and his getting out of hand.
"It's all very normal. And the guy playing him is wonderful."
The Way sees Sheen team up with his son Emilio Estevez, who direct the movie, his first movie since Chamaco.
Sheen has also completed work on The Double as well as Bhopal: A Prayer for Rain.
The Amazing Spider Man, which is being directed by Marc Webb, is set for a 4th July 2012 release.
