Martin Campbell has revealed that he is not a fan of 3D.
Campbell is back in the director's chair later this summer for the release of new superhero movie Green Lantern - which sees Ryan Reynolds lead the cast.
And while the director admits that he was a bit fan of James Cameron's work on Avatar he is not sure about the while current 3D fad.
Speaking to Total Film the director said: "There was little talk of 3D when we started. It does nothing for me."
"I enjoyed Avatar and I thought it was so beautifully done, but Cameron's a genius with that stuff.
"But just go and see Clash of the Titans and that will give you a headache for a start."
"The problem is that finally the audience will wake up and realise that perhaps the quality of the 3D bang for their buck doesn't work out.
Green Lantern is the first movie for Campbell since he directed Edge of Darkness as the beginning of 2010.
Green Lantern is released 17th June.
