Mark Ruffalo has revealed that he was inspired by the behaviour of his son for the role of the Hulk.
We will be seeing the Oscar nominated actor take over the role of Bruce Banner for the first time next week in Avengers Assemble.
Speaking to Access Hollywood the actor said: "I was channeling my 10-year-old son, who I dedicate my performance to.
"It's that horrible moment in a child's life when the world expects a certain kind of behaviour from [them], but [they] can't quite hold it together and [they] break out in rage and it's Hulk-like.
"So I used him quite a bit for that character."
Ruffalo's Hulk is the only character in the movie that we have not seen in previous Marvel movies -- Eric Bana and Edward Norton have played this character in the past.
Earlier this week Rufffalo suggested that he could well be interested in doing a stand alone Hulk movie in the future as he would love to develop the character.
Avengers Assemble is released 26th April.
