Mark Ruffalo has admitted that he could be reprising his role as the Hulk away from The Avengers.
Ruffalo is taking over the role as Bruce Banner aka The Hulk from Edward Norton as the heroes of Marvel Comics come together for The Avengers.
But the actor has revealed that there could be future Hulk projects in the future.
Speaking to Empire the actor said: "They set up several pictures over a couple of years and possibly there will be another The Incredible Hulk movie.
"There'll probably be a couple more Avengers too, which would be fun," Ruffalo explained.
"The way I see it, Edward Norton has bequeathed this role to me. I reckon the part is my generation's Hamlet, and there's still some room for interpreting who The Incredible Hulk is."
Ruffalo has had a busy year with Date Night, Shutter Island and The Kids Are All Right all getting released. He has completed work on Margaret while Second Coming is also in the pipeline.
The Avengers, which will be directed by Joss Whedon, is scheduled to be released in May 2012.
