Mandy Moore is swapping Scrubs for Grey's Anatomy - she's joining the cast of the hit medical drama for a guest appearance this year (10).
The 26 year old appeared in hospital comedy Scrubs in 2006, playing a love interest for Zach Braff's character.
Moore will head back to hospital this year (10) to take part in the two-hour season finale of Grey's Anatomy, according to TVguide.com.
The website reports that the singer will play a patient in the upcoming episode, which is due to air on 20 May (10).
In recent years Moore has juggled TV and movie roles but she hasn't been seen on the big screen since Southland Tales back in 2007.
But she will be returning to cinema screens this year with Tangled and Swinging With The Finkles before moving on to First Love, Then Marriage.
