Malin Akerman hated the skin-tight costume she wore for scenes in new comic book movie adaptation Watchmen, because it left her smelling like "a human condom".
The actress had to squeeze into a form-fitting rubber outfit to play Silk Spectre II in the new blockbuster, and the Swedish star despised every minute she had to spend in the yellow and black suit.
She tells Maxim magazine, "I thought it was really f**king hot (at first).
"Then I tried it on, and I thought it was really f**king uncomfortable. And the smell? When you take it off, it smells like a human condom."
The actress took on the role of Silk Spectre II in the big screen adaptation of Alan Moore's popular graphic novel, directed by 300 filmmaker Zack Snyder.
The film, which is one of the most highly anticipated movies of 2009, was thrown into jeopardy when 20th Century Fox filed a lawsuit against Warner Bros back in February claiming that it was they who owned the rights to the graphic novel by Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons they had in fact acquired the rights back in the 1980s.
Since the issue was resolved the film has stormed to the American box office. However Snyder revealed that he has no intention to make a sequel to the hit movie.
