Andrea Riseborough has revealed that it was the script that drew her to W.E.
The actress is set to take on the role of Wallis Simpson in Madonna's new movie W.E. - which looks at the relationship between her and King Edward VIII.
She was on the red carpet in London on Wednesday night to promote the movie and she admits that she was drawn in by the characters were explored in the script.
Riseborough enjoyed breakthrough year in 2011 with the likes of Brighton Rock and Resistance under her belt.
W.E. kicks off 2012 for the actress but she also has roles in Shadow Dancer, Disconnect and Welcome to the Punch.
W.E. is released 20th January
