James D'Arcy has called W.E. a really interesting take on a story everyone thinks that they know.
The actor takes on the role of King Edward VIII in the movie directed by Madonna in a film that looks at his relationship with Wallis Simpson.
D'Arcy was on the red carpet in London earlier this week promoting the movie alongside his co-stars and director.
He heaped praise on Andrea Riseborough and Madonna and reveals that it was a pleasure working with them both.
W.E. is the first movie for D'Arcy since he starred in Screwed last year.
But he has already completed work on The Philosopher's and Cloud Atlas with Tom Hanks.
W.E. is released 20th January
