Luke Evans will be appearing in The Fast and the Furious 6 and he will start shooting the movie after he haw wrapped on The Hobbit.
Evans is set to play the main villain in the sixth instalment of the popular franchise alongside Vin Diesel and Paul Walker.
The British actor is currently working with director Peter Jackson on his two part adaptation of The Hobbit.
Evans will play Bard the Bowman in the movie alongside Martin Freeman, Ian McKellan, Andy Serkis and Richard Armitage.
The Fast and the Furious is a franchise that has spanned over a decade but Fast Five, which was released last summer, was the biggest box office success as it grossed $626 million.
Evans has seen his star rise in the last year or two with The Three Musketeers, Tamara Drewe and Immortals under his belt.
He has also completed work on No One Lives, which is directed by Ryûhei Kitamura, and Ashes which sees him star alongside Jim Sturgess and Ray Winstone.
