Liam Hemsworth has revealed that he is sad to see Gary Ross leave the Hunger Games franchise.
The director has steered The Hunger Games to a $617 million box office success but he will not be returning to direct Catching Fire.
Hemsworth however will be returning to reprise the role of Gale and he had nothing but praise for Ross.

"I think that there's still so many people that want the film to be great and care about it so much that they're not going to bring the wrong person on.
Catching Fire is the second book in the hit series while Mockingjay will round off the trilogy.
Jennifer Lawrence will reprise her role of heroine Katniss Everdeen while Josh Hutcherson will also be back as Peeta.
