Leonardo DiCaprio has called his new film Inception 'complex' and 'ambiguous'.
The Oscar nominated actor has joined forces with Christopher Nolan, his first movie since The Dark Knight, for what could be the strangest movie of the year.
In an interview with Collider the actor said: "Complex and ambiguous are the perfect way to describe the story.
"And it’s going to be a challenge to ultimately pull it off. But that is what Chris Nolan specialises in.
"He has been able to convey really complex narratives that work on a multitude of different layers and make it entertaining and engaging throughout.
"You look at ‘Insomnia’ or ‘Memento,’ these movies are working on so many different levels. That’s his expertise; it’s what he does best, as a matter of fact."
In a world where technology exists to enter the human mind through dream invasion, a single idea within one's mind can be the most dangerous weapon or the most valuable asset.
DiCaprio stars alongside Cillian Murphy, Marion Cotillard, Joseph Gordon Levitt, Ellen Page and Michael Caine.
Inception is released later this summer.
