Leonardo DiCaprio has admitted that he is excited for the release of his new movie Inception.
The film sees the Oscar nominated actor team up with filmmaker Christopher Nolan, as he directs his first movie since the success of The Dark Knight back in the summer of 2008.
DiCaprio admits that he immersed himself in the role and was excited by the film because even he didn't know what was going to happen.
Speaking to STV the actor said: "I was in the movie and even when I watched it I didn't know what was happening next.
"Much of the appeal of this movie is going to be the surprise element and not knowing what to expect. I can't wait for people to see it.
"I completely immersed myself in it so not talking about it in great detail before people see it is very refreshing."
DiCaprio has already enjoyed box office success this year when he reunited with Martin Scorsese for thriller Shutter Island, based on the Dennis Lehane novel.
He is also set to play J.Edgar Hoover in Clint Eastwood's movie Hoover as well as being linked to movies Prisoners and The Low Dwellers.
Inception is released 16th July.
