Lenora Crichlow admits that the character of Shania Andrews just leapt of the page when she read the script for her new movie Fast Girls.
The actress leads the cast in the Regan Hall directed movie this week and she was in London on the red carpet.
And the actress went on to say that she really liked the under dog story but knew that the role would be a challenge for her:
Fast Girls follows a group of athletes as they train for success at a world championships and it was a script that was penned by Noel Clarke.
The movie marks the big screen directorial debut for Hall and sees Crichlow star alongside Clarke, Rupert Graves and Bradley James.
Crichlow has made her name in TV with the likes of Being Human, Material Girl and Sugar Rush and is now moving onto the big screen.
Fast Girls is released 15th June.
