Woody Allen has admitted that he likes to shoot his scenes quick because he doesn't have patience.
The Oscar winning writer and director was back on the big screen last week with his latest movie Whatever Works, his first film since the success of Vicky Cristina Barcelona.
And while other directors explore all the different ways to shoot a scene Allen admits that his lack of patience prevents him for working in a similar manner.
He told The Daily Telegraph: "If you look at guys who are not lazy, let's say Steven Spielberg or something - you know, they work.
"They go out on location somewhere, and they live in the desert for a year, or in some godforsaken country for ages, making a film.
"And they shoot every angle and do everything. I can't do that. I don't have the patience."
And it won't be long until we see another Allen project on the big screen as You Will Meet A Tall Dark Stranger, which brings together a great cast of Antonio Banderas, Naomi Watts and Josh Brolin, which is released later this year.
Allen is bring yet another talented cast together for his latest project Midnight In Paris as he is all set to work with Rachel McAdams, Marion Cotillard and Adrien Brody.
