Kevin Bacon's wife Kyra Sedgwick is to be honoured with the 2,384th star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
The Born on The Fourth of July actress will unveil her star at 6356 Hollywood Boulevard, next to her husband's pavement tribute, on Monday (08Jun09).
Sedgwick has been acting for almost 30 years. She made her professional acting debut at the age of 16 on U.S. soap opera Another World.
Although the actress has appeared in many movies including The Woodsman, The Game Plan and Phenomenon it's televison series The Closer that has brought her the most success.
The Closer sees Sedgwick take on the role of Deputy Chief Brenda Leigh Johnson, a Georgia police detective who moves to LA to lead the Priority Murder Squad.
The show is now in it's fourth season and Sedgwicj has won a Golden Globe for her performance as well as being nominated a Primetime Emmy Award and a Screen Actors Guild Award.
