Kristen Stewart has admitted she is was nervous about taking on the role of Joan Jett.
The Twilight star teams up with Dakota Fanning in The Runaways, which follows the rise and success of the teenage girl rock band featuring Jett and Cherie Currie.
Speaking on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno the actress said: "You always feel the pressure," she said. "It's like, if I don't get every little thing right I'm going to kill myself.
"And we have very different tics. We're both, like, ridden with tics but they're a completely different set of them... She's got a hunch. But a cool one."
The biopic picture is a change of pace for the actress after she found success playing Bella Swan in the Twilight Saga franchise.
And she is set to return to that role later this year as Eclipse, the third movie in the series, hits the big screen.
New Moon, which was released back in November, and was one of the biggest grossing movies of 2009, taking over $706 million at the global box office, and Eclipse is expected to do just as well.
Eclipse is released 30th June.
