Kirsten Dunst is reportedly, at long last, aboard the fourth Spiderman movie.
Spiderman was last in cinemas in 2007 and director Sam Raimi and leading man Tobey Maguire have long been linked with a fourth and possibly fifth movie but Dunst has been reluctant to commit to the project.
Raimi told Sci-Fi Wire last month: "I'm hoping that she is going to come aboard, and I've got a meeting coming up with her. I think she would like to. But I don't want to speak on behalf of her."
However the Todd Black revealed in the New York Post that she will be reprising the role of Mary-Jane in the fourth movie in the franchise.
Discussing the movie further the producer would not speculate about the villain Spiderman will face in the new movie: "We're just coming up with who the villain's going to be now. We'll be shooting in New York again.
"Trust me - people will appreciate who we pick, because it'll be a big part of New York."
He did however quash rumours that Peter would marry Mary-Jane.
