Kirsten Dunst has revealed that she is in support of the Spider Man reboot.
The actress played Mary Jane Watson in the first three movies alongside Tobey Maguire and director Sam Raimi.
The reboot sees Andrew Garfield take over the role of Peter Parker while Emma Stone is on board the movie as Gwen Stacy.
And Dunst has praised the two stars and wished them the best with the new movie.
Speaking to Screen Junkies the actress said: "I felt like what we had during those films was so special, like me and Tobey and Sam.
"It was such a unique experience and also because it was these independent minds and actors and you're making this huge film.
"It's great that all these kids are such huge fans and to be a part of a movie like that is very special, especially a good franchise. So to end on Spider-Man 3 I think is the perfect way to leave it.
"I like Andrew Garfield so much as an actor - and Emma Stone - so I think they'll be great in the new version."
Dunst will be back on the big screen with her new movie All The Good Things, a love story and murder mystery based on the most notorious unsolved murder case in New York, which also stars Ryan Gosling.
She has also completed work on Melancholia and Upside Down and is currently filming On the Road with Sam Riley and Kristen Stewart.
