Kim Cattrall is to be honoured in her adopted Canada with one of the country's highest accolades.
The actress will be inducted into Canada's Walk of Fame outside Toronto's Four Seasons Centre for the Performing Arts on 12 September (09) alongside actor Raymond Burr, singer Tom Cochrane and comedian Howie Mandel.
The British-born Sex & The City star emigrated to the country when she was a child and became a citizen before moving back to England to study.
She eventually found success as an actress in New York and Los Angeles but always considered herself a proud Canadian.
Cattrall became an American citizen last year (08) but hasn't renounced her Canadian ties.
Those considered for the Walk of Fame honour must either be Canadian, have lived in Canada for over a decade or produced work which contributes greatly to the country's landscape.
