Kelly Brook has revealed that she doesn't take her acting career too seriously because the film industry is so 'fickle'.
The British model will be seen on the big screen later this week with her new movie Piranha 3D, the latest film from Alexandre Aja, alongside Ving Rhames and Elisabeth Shue.
Speaking to the Press Association Brook said: "This industry can be so fickle, one minute you're up and then you're down.
"I think you just have to really embrace it and enjoy what you do, not really take it too seriously and realise its not forever. Just enjoy it for what it is."
Piranha 3D is the first movie for Brook since Fishtales back in 2007 but the actress admits that getting her role in the film was pretty straight forward.
"It was pretty easy in terms of getting the job because I was just sitting in a restaurant having dinner with my friends and the director spotted me and asked me to come along and audition for me that part."
"Coming to America and doing the movie, doing all this stuff, that's where the hard work comes in."
Piranha 3D is released 20th August.
