Keira Knightley has revealed that she struggled with all the attention that came her way whilst working on the Edge of Love.
The actress starred alongside Sienna Miller in the movie and reveals that it was her co-star that dealt with the media better and she admits that she still struggles with being recognised.
I'm still not good at being recognised.
Speaking to Vogue the actress said: "Sienna was better at coping with it. I think it broke something in me.
“I was told very early on that if I didn't go out to openings and parties and events I would be left alone. I didn't, and they still didn't leave me alone.
"I knew it was part of the deal in the life I had signed up to, but the fear of it has never left me. I'm still not good at being recognised.
“I wear scruffy clothes and hats and keep my head well down. I'm sure people must think I'm a complete bitch, but I'm just very shy."
And Knightley is back on the big screen in the new year, with her new movie Never Let Me Go, which is a big screen adaptation of the Kazuo Ishiguro novel.
The movie sees the Oscar nominated actress star alongside Carey Mulligan and Andrew Garfield in the Mark Romanek directed project.
Never Let Me Go is released 11th February
