Justin Long admits that he would love to star in the fifth Die Hard movie.
The actor revealed that he had heard that the project was possibly in the pipeline and whilst at a meeting for another movie he put the feelers out for a possible role in the movie.
Speaking to MTV the actor said: “No, I heard it was imminent and as soon as I looked up the word, I got excited.
"I had a meeting recently at Fox about doing a romantic [comedy]," Long explained. "And the guy in the office next door, he was in charge of the new 'Die Hard,' [so] I said, 'Do you mind if I pop my head in?'
“So I met him and I was like, 'Ummm?' What about me?”
"He was equally vague in his gesture back to me," Long said. "So I didn't get a good feeling that I was going to be a part of the imminent 'Die Hard.'
"I don't know if I'm going to get my hands on it." He added, "I would love to."
Long is currently starring alongside Drew Barrymore in his new movie Going The Distance and will also voice the character of Humphrey in Alpha and Omega.
