Julia Roberts has revealed that she feels confident to take on lead roles again.
She is back on the big screen later this year with Eat Pray Love, a big screen adaptation of Elizabeth Gilbert's memoir of the same name.
The Oscar winner was part of the ensemble cast of Valentine's Day earlier this year and before that we hadn't seen her on the big screen before she teamed up with Clive Owen in Duplicity in 2009.
Speaking to Reuters she said: "I haven't done a main part in a movie in a long time and I wondered if that kind of workload would still be interesting to me, and I was very happy at the end of this that I felt incredibly fulfilled as a creative person."
Roberts takes on the role of Elizabeth Gilbert in her new movie and admits that she found the role of the author to be a real challenge.
"I was definitely outside of my comfort zone but, I mean, as an actor that's what you want to go to work for. "It's to find a thing that's challenging and unnerving and far-reaching."
But she is set to reunite with Tom Hanks, they starred together in Charlie Wilson's War, for new movie Larry Crowne, a movie which is also directed by Hanks.
