Jude Law has revealed that there is going to be a Sherlock Holmes sequel.
The actor took on the role of Dr Watson alongside Robert Downey Jr in the Guy Ritichie directed movie at the end of last year.
There has been talk of a sequel after the success of the first movie, which too $470 million at the global box office and bagged Robert Downey Jr a Golden Globe.
Speaking to Comingsoon.net the actor said: "I think we are probably going to make another (Sherlock Holmes)... it's not like next week but I think it's some time this year."
"We had such a blast making that film, and it was another very happy experience. Conan Doyle wrote over 15 books, and there was so much to take from.
"Because of our enthusiasm for the project... we all started throwing in our ideas of where it could go and what should happen next."
Repo Men is the next movie for Law, released next month, which sees him team up with Oscar winner Forrest Whitaker.
The actor will also be starring alongside Matt Damon, Kate Winslet and Marion Cotillard in Contagion later this year.
"Contagion is not until the end of the year and I'm one of a large number of people in a big ensemble.
"The subject matter is really interesting, it's very current. It's about a contagious disease spreading across the world and how it affects different elements. Be it the public, the medical services, the emergency services, politicians.
"I play someone online, a blogger, who is kind of a fearmonger. And I just really like the part, and I just love Steven Soderbergh films. I think he's a great talent."
