Joss Whedon has revealed that working on The Avengers movie comes with 'enormous stipulations.'
The Buffy The Vampire Slayer is all set to bring some of the biggest marvel characters together on the big screen but guidelines from Marvel means that some of the script he had planned now will not be in the movie.
Speaking to The Sydney Morning Herald the filmmaker said: "I'm working on a movie that's got enormous stipulations and is going to be changing and fluid every second.
"I've come up with dozens of scenes and lines and exchanges and monologues that I adore that are not going to be in it. But while I'm writing them they feed me, excite me and they ultimately inform the character.
"I certainly will do everything in my power... to make it good," he remarked. "That's my power, that's all I've got. All I can do is make [The Avengers] good enough for somebody to see it twice."
Marvel comic book movies have dominated the big screen in recent years and The Avengers is all set to bring Iron Man, Captain America and Thor together, which will see Robert Downey Jr, Chris Evans and Chris Hemsworth all reprise their roles.
Samuel L. Jackson and Scarlett Johansson will also be returning as Nick Fury and the Black Widow while we will be introduced to Hawkeye, to be played by Jeremy Renner, for the first time.
