Joseph Gordon-Levitt's turn in cancer movie 50/50 made such a lasting impression on one female sufferer, she has recorded a video appealing for a date with the actor.
The Inception star has won over critics with his new film role, and cinema-goer Lindsay Miller, who has been diagnosed with cancer, was equally in awe of the actor's performance.
In a post on her website, she writes, "I saw the cancer comedy 50/50 recently and was impressed with it, though it was difficult emotionally for me to watch.
"After seeing Joseph Gordon-Levitt's performance and seeing/reading some of his subsequent interviews about the film I thought, 'This guy gets it. And he's cute. I wonder if I could ever run into him somewhere.' But even though I live in L.A., it seems impossible to find him."
Miller, 26, has now filmed a YouTube.com video appealing for Gordon-Levitt to contact her so they can meet up for a coffee date.
In the clip, she says, "Even though I look healthy, dating has been a little difficult because I'm not sure how to explain what I've been going through. But, after years of living with this, I've decided to get back on the dating scene and I'd like my first date to be with you.
"Maybe you could call it my make a wish, but let's not be over-dramatic - just a cup of coffee with you would make me happy."
