Joseph Gordon Levitt has praised his Inception co-star Leonardo DiCaprio calling him the consummate actor.
The pair team up for Christopher Nolan's latest movie project Inception, which also stars Marion Cotillard, Ellen Page and Michael Caine, and Levitt admired the level of professionalism from DiCaprio.
Speaking to Digital Spy the actor said: "He's a consummate actor, there's a reason he is who he is - he's extremely good at what he does and he is extremely professional and I love that he prioritises the art and the craft of it.
"As big a star as he is, he's an actor first and foremost."
Levitt has mixed and matched his roles this year, having also worked on Hesher in 2010, and this is his second blockbuster role after G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra last summer.
And Levitt reveals that Inception was a demanding shoot, especially the scene with the rotating corridors, he said: "(500) Days Of Summer, that dance sequence gave these scenes a run for their money in the fun factor, but I would say overall Inception was the hardest and most fun I've ever had on a set physically."
Inception is released 16th July.
