Jonah Hill has revealed that he is excited that movie fans get to see a different performance from him in his new movie Cyrus.
The funnyman joins forces with John C.Reilly and Marisa Tomei for Cyrus which the actor believes was a more 'dramatic stretch' for him.
Speaking to MovieHole the actor said: "Yeah it's definitely more of a dramatic stretch for me.
"It was the first time ever it was difficult for me to go home at the end of the day and shake off what I was doing earlier in the day and just hang with my friends or my girlfriend and be normal after playing such a severely affected guy."
The movie follows John (Reilly), who is still single seven years after the break-up of his marriage.
But then he meets Molly (Tomei) and their relationship takes off quickly. But soon he discovers that she has a twenty one year old son and he is not prepared to share her with anyone.
But Hill is back on the big screen this week as he teams up with Russell Brand in Get Me To The Greek, which sees the character Aldous Snow return to the big scree.
Hill has already enjoyed box office success this year as he voiced the character of Snotlout in How To Train Your Dragon.
He will return to the animation movie later this year with Megamind and he is also set to star in a remake of 21 Jump Street.
Get Him To The Greek is released 25th June
Cyrus is released 17th September.
