Jon Favreau is rumoured to be the favourite to helm a big screen adaptation of Jersey Boys.
Jersey Boys, which tells the story of Frankie Valli And The Four Seasons, has been a huge hit on Broadway and now it is coming to the big screen.
The Iron Man filmmaker is currently in talks to helm the project and Variety report that he is favourite with producer Graham King.
We haven't seen Favreau behind the camera since Cowboys and Aliens back in the summer of 2011, however he does have a couple of TV projects in the pipeline.
Filming on Iron Man 3 has got underway but Shane Black will be directing the latest instalment of the franchise.
However Favreau is still involved with the movie as he is set to reprise the role of Happy Hogan in the film as well as serve as executive producer.
