Joely Richardson is returning to the New York stage a decade after her last appearance Off Broadway.
The Nip/Tuck star will join actor Cotter Smith in new play Side Effects, which chronicles a politician's crumbling marriage, when the production opens for previews at the MCC Theater on 2 June (11).
Richardson previously starred in Off Broadway show Madame Melville in 2001.
Her new gig will open less than two months after her mother, Vanessa Redgrave, took her final bow in hit Broadway comedy/drama Driving Miss Daisy earlier this month (Apr11).
It's already been a busy few months for the British actress as he has completed worj on Anonymous and Red Lights
She is also set to star in David Fincher's The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo - alongside Daniel Craig and Rooney Mara.
The actress was last seen on our screen in TV series The Tudors in which she took on the role of Catherine Parr in the final season.
