A promotional train full of memorabilia from Jim Carrey's new movie version of A Christmas Carol is to chuff-chuff through 36 U.S. states as part of a 16,000-mile (25,700-kilometre) trek leading up to the film's November (09) release.
Carrey plays Ebenezer Scrooge in the Disney film, opposite Gary Oldman and Colin Firth.
The Christmas Carol Train will be decked out for the festive season and ferry Christmas carollers across America for stops in a string of towns and cities.
Visitors will see footage from the film inside a large inflatable 3-D theatre, which will be erected at each destination, and get the chance to check out artifacts from the Charles Dickens Museum.
A Christmas Carol is a reworking of Charles Dickens' timeless tale with Carrey taking on four roles in the film; the main part as Scrooge, as well as the three ghosts (Past, Present, and Yet-to-Come).
A Christmas Carol is released in the UK 6th November.
