Jessica Chastain has called director Kathryn Bigelow her 'hero'.
The actress has teamed up with the Oscar winning filmmaker for Zero Dark Thirty - Bigelow's first film since The Hurt Locker.
And Chastain admits that she really wanted to do this project as it gave her a chance to work with this director.
Speaking to The Press Association the actress said: "The main reason to make the film was to work with Kathryn Bigelow, she's always been a big hero of mine," she said.
"I loved Point Break - I grew up watching that film, I don't know how many times I've seen Patrick Swayze and Keanu Reeves!"
And the collaboration between Chastain and Bigelow seems to be paying off as Zero Dark Thirty has already enjoyed huge success at a string of critics awards.
The movie also picked up five Golden Globe nods yesterday including Best Motion Picture (Drama), Best Actress (Drama) and Best Director.
Zero Dark Thirty is also expected to be a major Oscar when the Oscars are announced next month.
Zero Dark Thirty is released 25th January.
