Jessica Chastain admits that she would still love to appear in a Marvel movie.
The actress had landed a role in Iron Man 3, which is directed by Shane Black, but she was forced to pull out of the project due to a conflicting schedule.
And while she admits that she was disappointed to miss out she hopes to be involved with the Marvel franchise in the future.
Speaking to Total Film the actress said: "It's always a good problem to have because it means you have options.
"It's not really a problem, but it was just impossible, schedule-wise. So I was sad.
"I met Shane Black earlier and I think he's going to make an amazing film. And of course I went to see Avengers Assemble earlier and I loved it. I hope to be in a Marvel film."
We will be seeing Chastain back on the big screen later this summer in Lawless, which sees her team up with Tom Hardy and Shia LaBeouf.
She has also completed work on Mama and Tar as well as a new Kathryn Bigelow project.
