Actress Jessica Biel has turned down the role of superhero Wonder Woman according
to reports.The Illusionist star, 25, was last week (26Sep07) said to be in talks to take
on the role in the forthcoming George Miller-directed movie Justice League Of
America.
But U.S. publication Entertainment Weekly claims Biel has followed in Kate
Beckinsale's footsteps and declined the part.
The film will follow the adventures of an elite group of superheroes,
including Batman, Wonder Woman, Superman, Aquaman and the Flash.The Justice League of America brings together some of the best know comic book heroes
including Superman, Batman, The Flash and Green Lantern.However current Batman star Christian Bale, according to reports will not not be involved in
the film neither will Superman star Brandon Routh causing further speculation that Smallville star
Tom Welling will take on the role.Kieran and Michelle Mulroney were hired by Warner Brothers to write the script which was completed
in June of this year. Warner brothers are happy with the script and are keen to move along with
the project.But The Justice League is just a long line of comic book movies that will be released next year films
include: The Dark Knight, the Batman Sequel, Iron Man, Hulk 2, and Hellboy 2.
