Jesse Eisenberg has described receiving an Oscar nomination as 'stressful'.
The actor was nominated for Best Actor earlier this year for his central performance as Mark Zuckerberg in the David Fincher directed movie The Social Network.
Speaking to the American-Statesman the actor said: "It's a stressful experience. It feels like a lose/lose situation.
"If you win, you have to make a speech, and that can go wrong, like you don't thank the right person. And if you lose, you lose."
"I [also] don't like dressing up. I feel like a child. I just feel stupid. I don't want to seem ungrateful.
"It's just that I have a pessimistic way of looking at things."
And Eisenberg has been a busy boy so far this year having lent his voice to animation movie Rio - while 30 Minutes of Less is out later this year.
He has also completed work on Free Samples and Predisposed and is currently filming The Bop Decameron.
