Jesse Eisenberg has admitted that he has not idea if a Zombieland sequel will go ahead.
The actor shot to fame when he starred alongside Woody Harrelson in the horror comedy back in 2009.
And while there is an script for a second movie currently being written Eisenberg reveals he hasn't seen it and has no idea what is going on.
Speaking to Little White Lies website the actor said: "No. They're writing the script right now but I haven't seen it and I suspect that the longer we wait, the less relevant it will be.
"I mean, all the actors would love to do it and the director would love to do it but I'm not sure what's happening."
Eisenberg has seen his star rise even further with the release of The Social Network, for which he was Oscar nominated, and he returns to the big screen this week with Holy Rollers.
Free Samples and 30 Minutes or Less are also due for a 2011 release - he has already found success with animation movie Rio.
