Jeremy Renner has revealed that he knows knowing about his supposed upcoming role in Mission Impossible 5.
When Renner joined Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol, which came out at the end of 2011, it was believed that the actor would take over the helm of that franchise from Tom Cruise.
Renner has since been linked to reprise the role William Brandt in a fifth instalment - however he insists that he knows nothing about it.
Speaking to the Press Association the actor said: "That's news to me sister! I don't know anything about that."
It has been a busy year for the actor so far as he has starred in Avengers Assemble as well as The Bourne Legacy.
Avengers Assemble grossed in excess of $1 billion to become the third biggest movie of all time while The Bourne Legacy currently sits at the top of the U.S. box office.
