Jennifer Westfeldt has revealed that she was told her new movie Friends With Kids was 'impossible' to make.
The actress makes her directorial debut with this movie, as well as penning the script.
And the filmmaker got the movie made against all of the odds.
Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter the actress said: "A lot people told us this was impossible and we couldn't do it, that we would never be able to do this on this low budget and in this amount of time."
Friends With Kids brings together an all star cast as Westfeldt is joined by Adam Scott, Jon Hamm, Kristen Wigg, Megan Fox and Edward Burns.
This is the first movie project for Westfeldt in a few years as she has focused on TV work such as Notes from the Underbelly and 24.
Friends With Kids is released 29th June
