Jennifer Lawrence has revealed that the heat was one of the toughest aspect of filming The Hunger Games.
The actress is set to storm onto the big screen later this month in the role of Katniss Everdeen in the big screen adaptation of the Suzanne Collins novel.
And while she admits that shooting the movie was a lot of fun the heat was one of the most difficult things to deal with.
Speaking to Parade the actress said: "It was all really fun, but filming in North Carolina in 100-degree heat and 100-percent humidity in cargo pants and leather boots and a jacket was tricky.
"The whole crew bonded over the heat and the bugs. And I conquered my fear of spiders."
"I had to do a scene running across a field, grabbing a backpack. There was no shade.
"It was just in this field of really tall grass and I had to sprint, and sprint, and sprint as fast as I could, five or six times. And then I had to get in this huge fight.
"I felt like I was in a car accident the next day."
The Hunger Games is a movie that is surrounded in excitement and it looks set to be one of the biggest box office successes of 2012.
Lawrence is joined on the cast list by Liam Hemsworth, Josh Hutcherson, Woody Harrelson and Elizabeth Banks.
The Hunger Games is released 23rd March
