Jennifer Lawrence has described Katniss Everdeen as a 'futuristic Joan of Arc'.
The actress is set to bring Suzanne Collins' heroine to the big screen later this month in The Hunger Games, a movie that promises to be her biggest role yet.
And the Oscar nominated actress admits that there is nothing that she doesn't like about that character.
Speaking to Entertainment Weekly the actress said: "She is somebody that I admire. She's a futuristic Joan of Arc.
"She's a warrior for the people. There's not really anything that I don't like about this character."
The Hunger Games is directed by Gary Ross and also stars Liam Hemsworth, Josh Hutcherson and Woody Harrelson.
And this is just one of the projects that we will be seeing Lawrence in this year as she has also completed work on House at the End of the Street and The Silver Linings Playbook.
The Hunger Games is released 23rd March
