Jennifer Lawrence has revealed that the cast of X-Men: First Class all got on really well together.

I had a blast. I was living in London for five months, and the whole cast [got on well].

The Oscar nominated actress takes on the role of Mystique in the Matthew Vaughn directed movie - which looks at the early years for Charles and Magneto.

The movie brings together an impressive cast with includes Michael Fassbender, James McAvoy, January Jones, Kevin Bacon and Nicholas Hoult.

Speaking to Teen Vogue the actress said: "I had a blast. I was living in London for five months, and the whole cast [got on well].

"We all legitimately love each other. We got addicted to hanging out."

X-Men: First Class is the first big budget blockbuster for the actress who shot to fame last year with Winter's Bone.

And Lawrence admitted that she didn't want to get 'pigeonholed' and intended to take on a wide variety of roles.

"It's easy to get pigeonholed, so I think it's important that when one thing gets really big - it's a wise decision to do the opposite.
