Jennifer Aniston actress turned director
Actress Jennifer Aniston is to make her directorial debut Room 10 at the Palm Springs Festival in California.The film which stars Forrest Gump actress Robin Wright Penn and Blade star Kris Kristofferson, is set in an emergency room and depicts the true story of a nurse who when treating a dying patient finds deeper meaning to her life.The film is co directed by Aniston's friend Andrea Buchanan, who also penned the sript.The directing duo have already won the jury prize at the Cinevegas Film Festival in Las Vegas for drama.The Palm Springs Festival will show case fifty four world premiers during it's six day run.Bryce Dallas Howard, following in the footsteps of her film-maker father Ron Howard, will also present her film Orchids which stars Alfred Molina and Katherine Waterson.The Palm Springs Festival of Short Films open on the 23 August and runs to the 29th.Helen Earnshaw
