Jena Malone has revealed that she is excited at the prospect of joining the cast of The Hunger Games: Catching Fire.
The actress is set to take on the role of Johanna Mason in the second instalment of the hit franchise - which is set to start filming later this year.
Speaking to E! Online the actress said: "I'm super excited."
And Malone admits that it was her younger sister who introduced her to the series of novels over a year ago.
"I read the whole series over a weekend when I had a wisdom tooth out," Malone also shared.
"I was in bed looking for something to read and my little sister recommended it like a year and a half ago, so she was like, 'You have to read it! You have to read it!' And so I'm glad I finally did and I loved it."
Malone is just one of the new names that we are going to be seeing on the cast list as Phillip Seymour Hoffman has also been confirmed to take on the role of Plutarch Heavensbee.
The role of Finnick Odair is yet to be cast. Jennifer Lawrence will reprise the role of Katniss Everdeen while Josh Hutcherson and Liam Hemsworth will also be back as Peeta and Gale.
The Hunger Games: Catching Fire is set for a November 2013 release.
