Jay Baruchel reveals that he was 'scared sh**less' when filming the mop scene in The Sorcerer's apprentice.
The movie is a live action version of the Mickey Mouse scene from Fantasia and sees Baruchel star as a Sorcerer's apprentice alongside Nicolas Cage.
And it was that famous scene of bring the mops to life, only for it to go slightly wrong, which was the most nerve-wracking for the young actor.
Speaking to Teen Hollywood he said: "Yeah. It sounds cheesy but I felt like the ghost of my grandparents kind of watching me.
"I tried my best to fulfill everything I had to do, do everything I had to do in terms of paying homage to the character and to the sequence while looking for moments where I could maybe do my own thing with it.
"I was scared sh**less. But, I loved having all those mops and brooms kick my butt. It was just magical and hard not to be a kid in that situation. I grew up watching that scene in Fantasia.
The movie sees Jon Turteltaub back in the director's chair and also stars Alfred Molina and Monica Bellucci.
Baruchel has already topped the box office this year as he lent his voice to How To train Your Dragon.
The Sorcerer's Apprentice is released 13th August
